Last night sushi club was created!
We started out in the valley on Ventura Blvd. Our original plan was to eat at Iroha, which many of us had been to and know how good it is. Unfortunately, their A/C was out and it was 100º+ that day, so we ventured elsewhere.
Luckily for us, we were on sushi row, so finding another adequate location was a breeze. We ended up at Ahi Sushi less than a block away. Since we decided to create Sushi Club at the end of the evening, there are no photos or documentation of what we ate, so the next post will be better.

- Halibut sashimi in hot olive oil & light soy sauce

Drove to Baskin-Robbins for ice cream. Almost all agreed that Hagen-Daz is better, except for those of us with childhood memories of “31 flavors.”

- Ordering take out was Gene Simmons son (recognized from Gene Simmons Family Jewels.)
- At both the sushi restaurant AND Baskin-Robbins was Dakota Fanning with entourage.
